JOIN OUR "BAND"
What is BAND?
BAND is a free group communication app that allows users to join online SOTD class communities. (It's available on Mac, iPad, and other devices.)
Each SOTD student must have at least one parent/caregiver/family member with access to BAND.
Parents/caregivers/family members are responsible for consistently monitoring BAND for important updates and information.
BAND has many features, including:
- Community Board: A place to share announcements, schedules, and other important information.
- Shared Calendar: A place to keep track of SOTD closures, rehearsals, events, and activities.
- Polls: A way to gather opinions from class members and parents.
- To-Do Lists: A place to create lists of reminders and tasks to be completed.
- Private Chat: A place to have private conversations with other class members, parents, and Instructors.
- Photo Album: A place to store and share photos with other class members, parents, and Instructors.
- Multiple Chat Rooms: A way to have separate conversations with different class communities.
